This is really day 2 of GAMES that happened about a month ago. It was too fun not to share with you so here goes!
It started with all of the students running to line up first thing in the morning. There's nothing quite like having lots of kids running pelmel to you.
They competed in an obstacle course engineered by our wonderful mini-missionaries. After racing with tires, doing a dizzy bat spin,
crossing the rings,
sliding, and other fun ways to get their energy out,
they stood with their teammates and cheered the next person on.
The older kids had an even more interesting obstacle course. They were quite worn out. :)
Meanwhile, the pinatas were given their final coating of newspaper and put out to dry.
In the afternoon, the girls watched The Secret Garden and the boys, yes boys, made friendship bracelets.
When asked if they had a fun day, the answer was always, "Yes, please!"
